United Nations Space Command

Storyline

Prior to the Human/Covenant conflict, the Unified Earth Government (UEG) was the governing power of Earth and it's colony worlds. However, as the Covenant invasions began, the United Nations Space Command (UNSC) was given governing power in order to protect humanity from the alien onslaught.

The UNSC's military arm is called the United Nations Space Command Defense Force (UNSCDEF).
